Melt Embossed Film

Mono and co-extruded systems are available, film forming by using a wet or dry embossing method as determined by product requirements. Repeatable embossing patterns and low tension capabilities provide excellent winding abilities. In-line slitting down to 3” / 76MM are possible with our special winding systems.

Specialty lines can incorporate coating or lamination of light weight non-woven substrates. We often provide custom equipment or configurations to meet specific product requirements.

• Line sizes range from finished net widths of 84” / 2133mm to 132” / 3353mm
• Core diameters of 3” / 76mm are possible using specially designed winding systems for all line widths. 6” / 152.4mm are also available.
• WInding diameters using a family of winder sizes
  up to 40 inches / 1000 mm are available
• Typical line speeds range from 600 FPM / 180 MPM to 1400 FPM / 425 MPM depending on extrusion package, formulation, film properties, embossing method and selected winding options.

Typical products; baby diapers, protective & masking films, disposable garments and bed sheets, pouches, PP photo protective sleeves, shower curtains and table cloths.

This 189 inch (4.8 meter) casting unit runs stretch films at speeds in excess of 1804 ft./min. (550 m/min.) with excellent reliability.

Cast film line with close coupled and streamlined feed pipes to a 7 Layer coextrusion system on a 150 inch (3.8 meter) wide die.

Stretch Film Lines from 80 inches (2 meters) to 200 inches (5 meters).
