ModulantT Slitter Rewind System

The Modulant T 500 is designed to accommodate a wide range of processes and web requirements. This system is ideal for non wovens, paper, and paperboard applications as it provides high production, shaftless slitting and surface winding of roll diameters up to 90 inches (2,286mm) at speeds up to 6,000 fpm (1,829 mpm). As the name indicates, the Modulant is modular in design to provide superior efficiency as well as ease of operation and self-contained roll handling.

Highlights of the ModulantT System:

• Reel spool with reel spool ejector or shaftless floor pick-up unwind for fast and efficient roll loading.
• Electronic tension control for accurate and responsive tension settings.
• Web squaring for even tension across the sheet.
• Pre-slit web spreading for a wrinkle-free, pre-stressed sheet to the slitters.
• Tangential sheer slitter for clean, low dust slits.
• Large 24 or 30-inch (610 or 762mm) diameter individually driven winder drums for stable winding and improved inwound tension.
• AutoCutT web clamping and cutting system for faster set changes and less scrap.
