Series 2400 Winder

The Series 2400 winder is ideal for winding stretch film wrap up to 4.2 or 4.8 meters (14 or 16 ft.). The winding system provides a European compact modular design incorporating the roll changer, two side-by-side turret assemblies, PLC and indexing servo controller into one package providing easy installation and stable operation at high line speeds. Automatic roll removal and re-coring is incorporated as a standard offering allowing for 40-second cycle times on hand wrap applications. Other features include rigid core shaft supports and pull through shafts, easy start bleed trim assemblies, and an isolation pull roll.

• 14-inch diameter, 900 pound (408 kg) capacity.
• Line speeds to 400 mpm (1,312 fpm) on the 4 meter (13 ft.) configuration and 500 mpm (1,640 fpm) on the 4.8 meter (16 ft.) configuration.
• Two-spindle surface/center winder.
• Net finished web widths of (4.2 m or 14 ft.) 166 inches (4,216mm) and (4.8 m or 16 ft.) 188 inches (4,775mm) with pivot-out shafting.
• Special pull-through core shaft design exclusive to Davis Standard
• 1.0 second transfer with tapeless static knife transfer system.
• Separate lay-on roll assemblies for each turret with individual controls.
• Razor slitting.
